"Future Vision: Exploring JD(U)'s Prospects under Nitish Kumar's Leadership

DELHI: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has taken over the reins of his party Janata Dal (United). At the national executive of the party on Friday, Nitish Kumar was elected president after the incumbent chief Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh stepped down. The development comes amid reports of differences between the top leadership which could see the exit of Lalan Singh from the ruling party in the run up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Nitish Kumar has played a key role in bringing together opposition parties on one platform against the BJP
