India Stands firmly with Israel in this difficult time says PM Modi

New Delhi- On 10 October 2023, Prime Minister of India received a call from the Israeli Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu. Prime Minister expressed deep condolences and sympathy for those killed and wounded as a result of the terrorist attacks in Israel and conveyed that people of India stand in solidarity with Israel in this difficult hour.

Prime Minister Modi reiterated that India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
PM Modi highlighted the issue of safety and security of Indian citizens in Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu assured of full cooperation and support.The two leaders agreed to remain in close touch. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted onX: "I thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his phone call and providing an update on the ongoing situation. People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour.India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism and in all its forms and manifestation.
