This morning, iQOO unveiled the display configuration of the upcoming iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo, set to be released on April 24th. According to iQOO officials, both the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo are equipped with a 144Hz TCL C8 screen substrate, boasting a local peak brightness of up to 4500nit. Additionally, users will have three dimming modes to choose from:
Low brightness 2160Hz PWM + high brightness DC dimming.
Low brightness 3840Hz UHF PWM dimming.
Full brightness DC dimming.
The TCL C8 display is currently regarded as one of the best domestic displays, with models like the Xiaomi 14 series and Redmi K70 series already utilizing it. The inclusion of this display in the iQOO Z9 series is expected to significantly enhance the competitiveness of both models within their respective price points.
Furthermore, preview content for the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo reveals that both devices will feature a 6000mAh Blue Ocean battery, a sleek body with a thickness of just 7.98mm, and 6K VC liquid cooling. The Turbo variant will also exclusively boast a dedicated graphics chip and Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processor.
