JSW MG Motors India has announced that it will launch the Cyberster in January 2025. The Cyberster will be the first car under the MG Select retail channel and was first revealed in March 2024. Read ahead to find all you need to know about the upcoming electric roadster:
MG Cyberster Design
The Cyberster features LED projector headlamps on the front along with a MG logo finished in chrome. Other than that, the front has a black grille which has air vents that help cool the battery. On the side, it has scissor-style doors with 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels and body colours outside rearview mirrors. The rear gets an arrow-shaped LED taillights along with a lightbar that runs across the width of the car.Â

The MG Cyberster has a modern interior with a 3-screen setup on the dashboard, two of which are for the driver information and the last is an infotainment panel. Other elements of the interior include a flat-bottom steering wheel, paddle shifters to control regeneration modes, electric roof, 6-way electrically-adjustable heated seats with memory function and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. For safety of passengers, the Cyberster gets multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and an ADAS suite.Â

MG Cyberster PowertrainÂ
There are two configurations of the Cyberster sold in the international markets. The entry-level trim gets a single rear-axle motor setup that produces 340bhp of power and 475Nm of torque. This version gets a 64kWh battery with a claimed range of 520km. The top variant uses a dual-motor setup with a combined power output of 544bhp and 725Nm of torque. This version shares the same 77kWh battery but gets a reduced range of 443km.Â
MG SelectÂ
As we mentioned earlier, the Cyberster will be the first model under MG's premium retail chain 'MG Select' which will also be used to sell other premium models from the brand. Details of which will be revealed by MG at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.Â
