Teenage Troubles: Understanding the Desperate Measures Some Students Take to Avoid Exams

Days after a series of bomb threats put the Delhi Police on alert, a Class 12 student was detained for his alleged involvement in the threat emails, which later turned hoax, to schools in the national capital, sources said on Friday.

It was found during the investigation that the student sent out the threat emails to schools to avoid sitting for school exams.

According to the officials, he sent bomb threats at least six times and marked different schools each time except his own.

He always tagged multiple schools on the email to avoid suspicion falling on him. In this process, he sent the email to 23 schools at once, officials said.
