What was it like working with Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna?

Ahsaas Channa, currently making waves in the OTT space, has garnered widespread praise for her recent performance as Vinny in Mismatched 3. The actress began her career as a child artist in 2004 and went on to share the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, where she portrayed the role of Arjun, Shah Rukh’s son. In a recent interview, Ahsaas opened up about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting how caring and supportive the superstar was throughout the shoot.

Speaking about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan, Ahsaas Channa told Filmygyan, “He is the most loving person on set. He is the most loved person also but he gives a lot of love. I remember we were shooting in New York and it was cold, around November- December. Humare adhiktar scenes football court mein the (Our scenes were mostly in football court). He used to warm me up and tell us exercises to do.” She also recalled how she would make handwritten cards and drawings

Ahsaas also expressed her desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan again. She added, “I hope to work with him again because as I am growing older my memories are also fading away. This was years ago when I was 6 years old. I want to make new memories with him.” Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna premiered in 2006. The film also starred Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan and others.

Ahsaas Channa made her Bollywood debut in the 2004 film Vaastu Shastra starring Sushmita Sen. She has also appeared in films like My Friend Ganesha and Phoonk. As an adult, she has primarily appeared in web series and television productions. Most recently, she starred in Mismatched alongside Taaruk Raina, Rohit Saraf, Prajakta Koli etc. Sharing about her character, Ahaas told ETimes, “It’s something different to what I have played in the past. She’s not a very super confident person who has her life together. At the same time, she is very woke, knows right from wrong and has a very strong sense of morals. I have never played a character like this who is so complex.” Ahsaas also appeared in the TVF series Kota Factory.
